Lone Duck Kennels specializes in breeding, training, and raising exceptional Gun Dogs. Our mission is to provide our community with a dog that has it all. We strive for the perfect combination of heart, drive for hunting, intelligence, the ability to calm down in the house, and healthy genetics for a long and happy life!

About Our Litters

We raise a small number of litters each year, which focuses on QUALITY over quantity. Each litter is well-socialized and goes through early neurological stimulation for the first 16 days. This is to ensure the best possible head start for you and your retriever puppy. During their 8 weeks with our team, they are provided with daily socialization and environmental stimulation to build a bold and happy puppy.

Each prospective puppy owner must complete a questionnaire and a phone interview before placing a deposit on one of our pups. This helps us to ensure all our puppy owners are qualified and responsible, which is something we take very seriously. It also allows us to help guide each new owner toward the right puppy for their lifestyle and needs.

All of the Lone Duck dogs love to hunt, compete in hunt tests and are true members of our families! We hope that your new Lone Duck pup will become a fantastic member of your family and a great companion in the field, so that you can experience the "unspoken bond," too!
